Executive Door was founded in 1985 to provide builders, architects, and consumers with unique custom doors. Our company goal is to provide doors that meet the customer\u2019s individual needs and produce them to the highest standards of architectural doors.<\/span><\/p>

In 1992, EDC introduced Environmental Doors \u2013 one of the nation\u2019s first series of paintable, medium density fiberboard doors. Produced from high quality recycled materials, Environmental doors meet the need for durable, highly flexible door designs sensitive to the needs of our environment.<\/span><\/p>

In 1998, EDC introduced Euro doors. Their finely machined asymmetrical panel design and offset interior face give the unique appearance of much thicker custom made doors. Window and Door Magazine recognized the Euro door\u2019s design excellence with the 2000 Crystal Achievement Award as the most innovative new door design.<\/p>

In 2003, EDC doubled the production capacity for the popular MDF doors with a state-of-the-art production process assuring EDC to remain at the forefront of the industry.\u00a0<\/p>

Judy Thomas, President and Owner<\/h4>

Judy Thomas became a member of the Executive Door team in 1991 starting in maintenance where together with her father Jerry Crittenden, prototyped EDC's first CNC router to machine what is now known as the Environmental Product Line. The CNC machined Environmental Door line revolutionized the Door Manufacturing Industry and cemented EDC as an industry leader in innovation and product quality.\n\nOver the years Judy has worked or assisted in virtually every position at EDC. Judy purchased EDC from her father in 2015 , continuing the family business into the next generation. Environmental consciousness and superior product quality remain the bedrock principle of EDC as the company strives to remain an industry leader by providing \"Innovation through Craftsmanship\".<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

AMANDA STEIN, PRODUCTION CONTROL MANAGER<\/h4>

Prior to joining the EDC team in 2019, she was heavily involved in aerospace manufacturing. Her specialties include process mapping, scheduling, and expediting, with a strong suit in customer service and communication. Outside of work she can be found on her ranch with her husband, their son, Andrew, many animals including horses, a pig, chickens, and several dogs<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

CHAVA HERNANDEZ, ESTIMATOR<\/h4>

Chava has been with Executive Door since 1994. He started as a finish operator, growing alongside with EDC to become supervisor, team lead, production coordinator and finally order estimator. He has shown always a great problem-solving attitude and works very hard to assist you to get the order from paper to a real, quality door. \u200b<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Jerry Crittenden, Co-Founder and Chief Innovator<\/h4>

Jerry holds several U.S. patents and, even in retirement, continues to drive innovation at EDC. He is native Phoenician, who grew up in the building trades. As s son of a Phoenix home building family, beginning as an apprentice carpenter, progressing to a Journeyman carpenter, cabinetmaker, door hanger, home builder and remodeling contractor\n\nJerry, along with his EDC business partner and wife Teresa, owned and operated EDC as the Region's premier regional door manufacturer for 30 years. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Teresa Sinatra, Co-Founder<\/h4>

Prior to founding EDC in 1985 with Jerry, Teresa worked in accounting and in various sales positions.She wore many hats over the years and was integral to EDC's growth.
